Garry is good friends with the incomparable Jack DeJohnette, a Grammy® award-winning drummer. Little known fact: Jack has performed at all the Drum Boogie Festivals.

Garry with seven-time Grammy® winner Paul Winter. An artist-in-residence at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in NYC, the saxophonist uses his music to build bridges between spirituality and the environment. One of the earliest exponent’s of world music, Winter has pioneered a new genre of “earth music,” interweaving classical, jazz and world music elements with voices from what he calls “the greatest symphony of the earth.”

Garry and the amazing Philippe Petit. A high-wire artist best known for his high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City (August 7, 1974), Petit is also adept at equestrianism, juggling, fencing, carpentry, rock-climbing, and bullfighting.
