An update from the Dois

Working with Woodstock Chimes and Kala Project on 'Chimes for Autism: Tyler's Story' was an incredible experience which we will forever cherish. We still find it hard to believe that our son was an inspiration for an internationally renowned and successful company such as Woodstock Chimes to create the Woodstock Chimes for Autism. We couldn’t be more proud of Tyler and are truly blessed to be his parents.

To be completely honest we don’t think Tyler realizes the potential impact he will have on autism awareness and research. We don’t even think many of our family and friends truly understood autism and Tyler’s amazing abilities until they learned of our involvement with Woodstock Chimes and in particular the production of the video. We hope that people across the world continue to watch it and thereby become more aware of autism, as strengthening awareness is vital to increasing the funding needed for autism research and enhancing support programs.

Tyler continues to do well in school, has many interests (one of which continues to be windchimes), and is the same happy, charming and amazing little guy that over 140,000 people have seen in the video. While Tyler may eventually move on to different interests, at least we know that Tyler will forever be remembered by many as ‘the windchime boy,’ and will have had a positive impact on the millions of people worldwide who are impacted by autism.
